I love how the league was willing to take draft picks and fine the Devils for exploiting (outsmarting) their salary cap loopholes but are completely silent on credible, overwhelming sexual misconduct. Moral of the story, if money isn't a factor the league couldn't care less.

The thing is this ongoing slow leak of indifference and apathetic behavior by people that failed to do the right thing may be the catalyst for Chicago to finally change the 'Blackhawks' moniker as they will want to turn the page on this chapter of franchise history.

I guess we will have to wait and see what punishment the league hands down. I can see significant fines and loss of draft picks for starters.

Hell the MLB banned Pete Rose for gambling and John Coppolella for of all things amateur signing infractions!

This is exactly how you ruin this kind of organization/business/brand/Harambe completely. Once this shit comes out (and I'm of course talking about when the complaint came up, not the lawsuit) you have to get ahead of it and make sure that you find out about everything (and everyone) and put your mistakes out there and apologize for them. If you don't the details will slowly drip out as you move pails around and eventually the whole place is flooded no matter what you do.
