Doc was an American hockey announcer. He was no better or worse than any other American hockey announcer but he was the most prominent one. Good for him, long life sir.
But NBC likely soured me on him way more than I ever would've been with the whole announcing-from-home thing on delay with Pierre McGuire of all people. If you ever want to make somebody miserable lol
