At the Holiday break, there are arguably 10 players on track to score 50 goals: OV, Skinner, Landeskog, Tavares, Pastrnak, Atkinson, Laine, Pavelski, Schiefle and Matthews. MacKinnon is pretty close also.

So that got me digging through the archives. There has only been one season in the last 12 with 3 50-goal scorers. In 2005-06 Cheechoo led a bumper crop of 5 50-goal scorers (seriously, he really scored 56 goals???). Had to go back to 95-96 when Super Mario led a group of 8 players that hit that level.
