NHL Trade Analysis: Philadelphia and Edmonton Swap Goalies - MyNHLTradeRumors.com

Not sure I get the benefit for the Flyers? For the oilers it helps their cap issues.

Flyers get a decent goalie to rely on next year in case the rest of the league develops a book on Carter Hart.

In my opinion, it makes less sense for the Oil. It doesn't do enough for the cap space, so they still have to move someone else. Plus, anyone with advanced scouting ability (read: has eyes) can see that Koskinen isn't anything worth resting your hopes on.

Then they went ahead and traded Spooner (2m) for Gagner (3.25m).

Chia never left, did he?

I would agree for next year but Talbot is an UFA and unless they sign him there is no guarantee for next year.
But is he much different than Neuvirth or Elliott?

Carter Hart and Talbot are buds. I wouldn't put it past Talbot to take a paycut to stay.

Sharks:
getting Karlsson back tonight
hungry for 2 points to catch Calgary
pissed after Caps blasted them 5-1 last game
have won 5 straight against the Canucks (11-0-1 in past 12)
have outscored the Canucks 11-2 in the two games so far this season

Canucks:
icing a team with 13 payers aged 25 or less
and Gubberson

so, does @esls79 guy in Singapore have any more info i need before i bet the farm?

Goldubin needs to have a big game to get out of the doghouse and the Sharks traded him away, so why not?:noidea:

You know what's good is having Shorty on the play-by-play instead of Dave Randorf :thumb:

Roussel from Biega is a scoreline you don't often see.

I keep thinking of big Karnowski whenever Simek gets his name called.

Canucks out-shoot the Sharks 18-6 in the 2nd period, ergo the Sharks get the only goal of the period.
