Cole is a legend for sure. Something about his voice calling a hockey game that resonates with me especially during the playoffs.

turning point of the game, 1 minute left in the 2nd, CBJ outshooting Nucks 24-14
and Nucks did not look dangerous at any time
Josh Anderson tries to cut into the slot, and Hutton utterly destroys him into the post.
no one in blue even had a word with Hutton.

3rd period, Canucks outshot CBJ 8-5 (not alot, I know but definitely changed the trend) and outscored them 3-1

either that or score effects and a couple of lucky ones. :noidea:

The turning point in the game was when the guy sitting behind us said "We're gonna get a shutout" and Mrs 43 said that he should never say that.

A minute later, the Nucks scored and she glared at him and he left.

At least the seats were good.

And hey- shout out to the Jackets and Nationwide Arena for taking my keychain multi-tool. I am so glad they are on the ball to protect the fans because you never know when I might snap and go and file down someone's hangnail or tighten up a loose bolt.

Meanwhile, they think nothing of having the spandex bimbos run around the arena and throw out little pizza boxes that cause people to trample each other for free racist pizza.

Since I am too cheap to read the article, what IS the price for Jeff Carter?

From the article...

Carter, by comparison, will be 37 when his deal is up. As such, the executive theorized a first-round pick, prospect, and an existing contract would represent the ceiling of what the Kings could demand.

It’s still a big ask.

The Bruins gave up their 2018 first-rounder in the Rick Nash trade. It would not serve them well to go a second straight June without picking in the first round.

If GM Don Sweeney holds firm on keeping his first, he’d have to make up the price elsewhere. While Donato and Anders Bjork would be the likeliest targets, the conversation might expand to include Urho Vaakanainen and Jack Studnicka.

Jeff Carter on the trade block?

Athletic writers have been pushing Carter to Boston for about a month now with basically no evidence that either team is even thinking about it.

I can't think of a bigger waste of a trade than to go after Jeff Carter and then put him as a 3C but I am all for it if it's Boston doing it.
