hey esls,

why are your Minnesota Wild players punching each other?
If your teammate needs a wake up call, that's one way to do it
And I'm not a Wild fan anymore after Craig Leipold bought them - i root for the local teams

In other news, how can the Divelanche be this bad? This is not even Oiler-esque this season.

It felt like the Ducks were on the Eaves of breaking the shutout bid.

Yup, that's a penalty, even without game management.

I find that if they happen to the right people it usually only takes a couple of injuries/slumps/whatever to turn a crappy team into a complete tire fire for a year (especially if one of them is a traditionally above average goaltender).

as much as I like to see them beat the California teams, gotta be careful of the standings
just passed DET, CAR, NJ, and DAL

Goldie was an exciting player when he got some actual ice time.

Some discussion points at the GM meetings in Florida:

@Real_ESPNLeBrun
Flames GM Brad Treliving said his small group, among many things, looked at the idea of 3 points for a 60-min win, the merits of it ...

Veteran GM Lou Lamoriello on the other hand says he would rather go back to 2 points for a win and zero for any kind of loss. No loser point

I think I prefer a 3-2-1-0 to 2 points/no loser point system, but either way is better than this current system where not all games award the same number of points. If you win the game in regulation time, you should get more points than if you need OT or a shootout. I can see the merits of getting at least one point for forcing OT, though. That's why my preference is the 3-2-1-0 system.
