Kyle Okposo has 7 pts in 7 games. Andrew Ladd has 1 in 9.

It's really sad that the Isles will probably watch JT walk without ever seeing success with him. What a bloody waste of an era.

It's not off to a promising start. Ladd hasn't found his footing yet and I think he's a notoriously streaky player. Same can be said for Okposo too though....

I still can't see JT walking. Sorry, I think he really likes NY.

Also for what it's worth, Ladd has played well. Pretty snake bitten to be honest. He's had a ton of chances, just not a whole helluva lot of luck. It'll come.

It's early, but if the Isles regress and even miss the postseason would you want to stick around? This isn't like Stamkos where he's staying in a better locale with a winning team.

Unless the Isles become a contender between now and July 1 2018 I just cannot fathom why he would stick around. TBH it would say a lot about him as a player if he were to.

He's gotten a lot of shots off so the goals will come eventually, but he's been brutal on possession too. 45% skating with JT? That's ugly.

Yeah, Tavares leaving the Islanders wouldn't surprise me at all. They seem to be going backwards instead of forwards.

So, the boy had practice tonight at the Jackets' facility which is attached to the Arena. The side door into his team's locker room (from outside) is at the end of the building backed up to the fence around the player parking lot behind the Arena (Today, I learned Boone Jenner drives a Range Rover). The only thing between the door and the fence is the steps from the second level of the Arena Garage

Him and I are walking down from the parking garage and the Stars bus is pulling into that lot. I think to myself "Lindy Ruff is on that bus". And without thinking I blurt out "FUCK DALLAS!".

The look of horror on my son's face as the cheer goes up from inside his locker room was AWESOME. See, someone opened the door as we were walking by, and everyone who was in there heard me say it.

After practice he told me someone asked "What does your dad have against Dallas?"

He responded "He hates all of Texas".

Blue Jackets are 4-3-1.

In those games Bobrovsky has been one of the three stars in all but one, opening night loss to Boston. In 3 of their wins, he's been #1 star. And in the shootout loss.

Sounds about right.

Outshot last night 40-22 or some damn thing and still pulled out a win. It's totally sustainable.

If it's sustainable for the Habs with Price, why not CBJ with Bobrov?

Werenski sure seems like he isn't missing a beat in the NHL.

The Ducks have put Mason Raymond on unconditional waivers today (that usually means termination of contract). Next stop, Europe?

Well, our Maritimes correspondent @juliansteed will be pleased about this news...

Senators return Chabot to junior team

I'm pleased too. It was really good for the kid to play train and travel with pros. The fact that they kept him so long tells me that he is expected to be a full-time player next year.

That being said the kid needs to play more than a game a month. Let him go down, dominate the Q, be key guy for Team Canada and come back as 20 year old ready to replace Borowiecki (please, please, please) permanently on next year's roster.

Now, call up Claesson and play him over Boro and we're all good. :D

It's best for Chabot that this happens. Go back to the juniors and hone up his game so that in 2017 or 2018 he can make the team full-time and be a good player.

Sens acquire Mike Condon for a conditional 5th rounder from PIT.

Seriously though I'm good with this. He's probably better than Hammond at this point. Maybe they can reclaim a late pick for Hammond when he gets healthy.

So, will Sens fans litter the ice with rubbers instead of hamburgers now after a big win?
