2016-2017 Season Predictions

Performs a hundred season simulations using a formula I'm way too dumb to understand and comes out with every Canadian team except for the Habs missing the playoffs. Actually, the Habs are the only team it pegs as making the playoffs that didn't last season.

If I had to pick a team that is totally reliant on their goalie to make the playoffs it would be the Rangers, but

Now, I've been kinda outta the loop (health issues and subsequent prescription drugs) the last week or so but I guess this means Kyle Connor has officially turned pro. Also didn't realize that Trouba was RFA. Dude, you're a free agent, try the offer sheet route before going public with trade requests.

If the Jets match, and there's no reason to think they wouldn't, he's stuck in Winnipeg forever.

I think Trouba has more leverage than people think - Chevy's been there for five years and they've played 4 playoff games with no wins. If that goes a sixth year I don't know how the owners can keep him around. Its in their interest to get pro-level playing time out of Trouba or move him for someone who will give it to them.
