Kinda wanted him on Ottawa's bottom pair. Oh well. It looks like the Sens are going to fill that spot with Freddie Claesson. Not much experience but he's shown some promise as a mobile-ish defensive d-man.

If you're looking for a bottom pairing non-mobile d-man with no promise then ask the Ducks about Bieska or Stoner

i think at the price he will be ok veteran depth which is what Devs were looking for as you mentioned

/trade him at the deadline for a 1st rounder and youre more than golden!!!

Wings grossly overpaid for him so they may be a tad down on him but for $1.25MM and not giving up any players I think he could be a bargain.

Hawks do have some cap space after the season but a $6 mil AAV for Panera Bread will leave them with about $10-13 mil (depending where the cap lands) to fill about ten roles.
