Paranteau's goal for the Leafs gives him 20 on the season. There was a chance they would not have a 20 goal scorer for the first time since 39-40.

Possibly Elias last game (or at least last game as a Devil). Zacha gets on the board with his first assist.

Elias was always a favorite of mine. If this is the end, all the best Patrick.

Panarin's game tonight locked down $2.75million in bonuses.
Goes against Chicago's cap next year - that will cost the a player.

Ovechkin is like a vampire for goals. I don't know how he does it.

I hope that the lottery goes to a team that played well down the stretch.

I'll go even further. I hope the top 3 all go to the those who competed to the end.

Fuck the tankers!!!

We'll still be there, @DoobeeDoobeeDoo

Don't worry your pretty little beak about it. ;)

Ovechkin joins Bossy and the Great One. Holtby ties Brodeur.

Nice game tonight from the paper tigers.

At least they've made someone happy.

It was a strange night, Flames fans were quite pleased with the Jackets win, then some lost their collective shit when the Flames beat the Wild, and then rejoiced when the Jets beat the Kings in a shootout.

/It's amazing how a few percentage points can swing people's moods.

Going to be funnier when the top 3 drops as Edmonton-Buffalo-Arizona.

The NHL should make all final games of the season happen at the same time like the Premier League does. How much more fun would it have been had Philly, Boston and Detroit all been playing at the same time?

If the Flames stay at 5 or even drop to 6th, they'll get a pretty durn good player. If somehow they manage to move up, well that would be gravy.

Sabres actually hurt their chances down the stretch, but given where they were last year and how they looked at times this year, nobody was cheering against them anymore.

Future looks bright. But a little lottery luck (finally) wouldn't hurt!

We are, like, in the exact same boat. I am sitting near the life jackets, where are you?

Sam Reinhart had a fine season, at least the Sabres were lucky enough to get the best of the Reinhart boys.
