Franchises go through ups and downs. I know this as a Pens fan. Shero left us in some pretty crummy shape at the end of his tenure, and Mike Johnston wasted a year and a half as coach. I'm confident it can be turned around.

Am I allowed to use the Caps as a comparable? I mean, were you feeling that great two seasons ago under Dale Hunter? Inexcusably trading away Forsberg? And look where you are now.

Funniest part still remains Pierre saying the Caps were making it into a street fight after Chimera was called for embellishment when his jersey was pulled. Real West Side Story stuff Pierre.
