Exactly what Leafs Lunch guys were talking about. They made a good point, said Phil Kessel probably had Boston on his "okay" list because when the hell was that going to happen...basically adds another team to your list.

Yeah. Basically a strategy - put the contenders on the OK list, then division rivals. Thins the herd.

Maybe, but I think some of his in-game player personnel decisions (giving certain guys power play time over others) and late game decisions (we're down a goal, send out Jones and Colborne) are more likely to be his undoing.

It's not wrong to think that they should be a playoff contender, I just see nothing from the team currently that thinks they can make a run for the playoffs this year combined with how other teams (San Jose and Anaheim) are currently playing. Maybe they have a outside shot at the wildcard, but I don't see a top 3 finish in the Pacific division.

Had to run errands after work tonight.
Only heard parts of the game while driving from place to place.
9-2 and it seemed like everybody got one goal. Lots of guys that either never score or have been in a slump for a while.
