I think what we're seeing is why top end scoring talent is important, nothing beats a top guy on the backend and the two remaining teams have that guy in Hedman for the Bolts and Makar for the Avs.

As for Hutton if it wasn't for the three playoff games in 2015-2016 he would have been the goalie version of Jeff Skinner.
Instead he is the Olli Jokinen of goalies.
