It's starting to become clear that Tarasov isn't it, and Elvis isn't consistent enough yet. Getting better for sure, but not there yet.

Jackets need to keep an eye on that waiver wire. One injury in the system and Jet Greaves is in the NHL again. That's not ideal.

/Not saying soupy is the answer, but still.

Devin Cooley is putting up some great stats in the AHL for the Wranglers. The duo of Wolf/Vladar is working well and I don't think any moves are imminent, but Vladar is on the last year of his contract.

He shouldn’t play until Nurse can play…

THEN - give him 5.
Tanner Jeannot came back from his 3 game suspension to score the kings gwg yesterday

Meanwhile Brock Boeser is out indefinitely with a concussion thanks to that dirty hit with no updates on his condition

Marcus Pettersson is the most likely candidate to be on the move. League sources said the Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks have interest in the lanky defenseman, and there’s every reason to believe other teams will covet him. In the final year of his contract, Pettersson is set to break the bank when free agency opens next summer. The Penguins value Pettersson, but they value replenishing their system considerably more. This is essentially the Guentzel situation all over again.

Pettersson is as good as gone.

They already called up Pickering who is essentially the same thing but younger.

And they blew it with Pettersson, his value was much higher last year but held on to him.

Askarov getting the start tonight in St Louis. He’s looked good in the A so far but the Barracuda might have a better defense than the Sharks, lol

Interested to see how he plays
