I honesty am starting to worry about the future of small market Canadian teams for a number of reasons, but key among them is that guys don't want to play in smaller Canadian markets. I can easily see in 10-15 years time that there are 36 teams in the NHL, but only three of them in Canada (Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver).

easiest fix is to increase the cap for canadian teams to compensate the tax problem. doesnt help small owners much but I dont see how else to level that playing field.

same as lowering the cap for florida teams :)

Seriously if Hyman can get 31 around the net like that with McDavid and Draisaitl, I cringe to think what Guentzel could do with them.

Guentzel would have been a great add for the Oilers and thankfully it didn't happen.
Same. As I would see the return now, a conditional 2030 2nd round pick and the rights to Nail Yakupov.

Oilers, by the way, are the oldest team in the league.
Pens in 2nd, of course

it's the little details in this game that I like.

Buffalo putting a hurting on the Wings.
Lyon pulled after posting .692 sv%
Reimer comes in to save the day... well, kinda, he's currently at .786

(the convert is good)
