the league or NHLPA is not exactly doing a bang up job of looking after players with issues (see Perry)

Sadly, I think this is the case. Jarret Stoll got arrested with cocaine and MDMA at a Las Vegas hotel pool. Kings did nothing. Evgeny Kuznetsov has a video of him in a room with cocaine lines on the table and tests positive for cocaine at the World Championships. Caps do nothing.

Ruzicka is a NHL/AHL tweener. Just get rid of him is the Coyotes response.

I really can’t believe NJ hasn’t fired him. This is an absolutely lost cause of a season and while goaltending has been bad it’s not the whole picture.

He should have never been hired but he certainly should have been fired 2 years ago. The only reason the Devils are even close to contending for a playoff spot is because of skill. Defensively they're a train wreck (like every team Lindy has ever coached), goaltending sucks and our PP is anemic. They'll blame injuries and that'll buy him more time but they were a mess long before that.
