Speaking of how is it on the Island? Haven’t heard much progress recently with Lahaina?

Short answer, no.

The area that burned is blocked off and they are just beginning the process of debris removal. When you look past the barriers, it’s exactly the same as the pics after the fire. The rest of the island is fine, but Lahaina will take at least a decade to come back. The logistics are difficult of course and there is still a lot of disagreement on next steps.

Lots that could be said on the societal fron but this is a hockey forum so I will leave it at that

There is a thread for that and we'd love to hear it.

Thanks for the update, and honestly didn't expect much more than that on this thread. Was curious since you made mention of it.

But please do share on the other proper thread.

Good lord, how much could he possibly want?

Even $8.5m is an overpay. His best comp might be JT Miller, same UFA age, they have the same P/GP since 2018-19 and JT signed for $8m AAV in a much worse tax market. And JT Miller hasn't been skating along one of history's best players all that time.

Run like the wind lol

Who here is excited for the all star draft? There better be some trades and tampering.
