So to recap the season thus far:

- Pinto banned for half a season after gambling scandal
- Babcock fired before he even got to coach a game
- The Oilers get off to a terrible start after hockey media labeled them as contenders and McDavid’s “cup or bust” comment. Jay Woodcroft fired.
- The league bans pride tape on sticks as an additional step after banning special theme night jerseys
- The Sharks get blown out 10-2 two games in a row
- Lucic is arrested for domestic abuse
- Trouba wacks someone in the head with his stick and only gets fined
- The NHL tells Fleury he can’t wear a mask honoring his Indigenous’ wife’s culture
- Wild fire Dean Evason after a bad start to the season
- Perry gets his contract terminated and a crazy rumor is spread about him sleeping with Bedard’s mom

Did I miss anything? It's not even December.

Yeah, but since Rozelle left, you had Tagliabue and then Goddell in the NFL. After Bowie Kuhn, you had Bud Selig and then Rob Manfred in MLB. NBA had Adam Silver take over for Stern. The only guy that has been a constant has been Gary.

Right but that just shows how weak those leaders were compared to strong Gary.

In Nashville? I am shocked I tells ya, shocked. I remember the game itself, Perry got 2 minors and we enjoyed interacting with him. He must have sobered up by puck drop.

2) Yes, it’s all Elon’s fault and Facebook doesn’t allow any god awful, terrible shit on their platforms. Way to stick it to the man, wealthy person who announces hockey games on behalf of a corporate juggernaut that gouges customers as part of a telecom monopoly.

I thought one of you sleuths may have learned the deeper details concerning Corey Fucken' Perry. I have despised many players over the past decades in the NHL, but only a small few I can genuinely say I hate. Perry is one of them. God and the Hawks front office are the only ones that know right now, I hope those pearls of knowledge spread out further.
