One day I will be old enough to own a Buick. Not quite there yet lol
I absolutely love my new hybrid Buick Skylark! Its a Buick so I get the impressed looks from the Boomer crowd, but its a hybrid so the millennials are equally impressed. I'm getting more numbers than a bingo machine!

I get the Buick stereotype, but with that being said I loved my 1980 LeSabre. Bought it used in ‘88. V8 2 door coupe. That thing was so big it needed it’s own zip code.

And if you ever hit anything head on, you’d be fine.

As my buddy used to say “lot of front end on this thing “

Friend of mine picked up a Grand National with like 20k km’s on it last year and man that thing is a fun drive.

Had another buddy when we were younger whose first car was a 1988 Century. I just remember the sound system banging as if it had two 12” subs in the trunk.

Fun cars. GM really were the last of the great American automakers.

We rented a Buick Envision when we went to Palm Springs in the spring. Drove well and we liked it. Considered getting one on a 24 month lease when my wifes car lease was up. Every other dealership salesperson that we mentioned it was a consideration side eyed us when we brought it. The guy at Audi almost literally did a spit take. Oh well, there was no availability for it in these parts anyways. :noidea:

I remember an episode of American Pickers where the guys visited a dude who used to work for GM in the design department. Initially, they wanted to name a new car the Buick Sword, but the design guy suggested why don't we use the French word for sword, Hence, the Buick LeSabre was born.

The Buick Reatta was a unique vehicle for its time. I looked into buying one but couldn't afford it at the time so I got a '91 Celica
