Speaking of unsigned players has Jay O'Brien signed with an NHL team yet?

Well this will pull the Ducks out of tank mode.

I had to do a double take there. I read it as Zach Stortini. Phew.

/can’t wait until Zegras spears him in the groin at practice provided Zegras doesn’t hold out

Yeah Phil your streak is over. I don't see you playing all 82 anytime soon.

He scored 52 points just two years ago and 43 in 56 the year before. If I was a tanking team I'd definitely sign him to a one year deal, pump up his value with PP time and then ship him out at the deadline for a 2nd round pick.

I would much rather have him as an option for roster fill than Mathieu Olivier.

Looks like the Blues top pick won't be playing in North America this year.

Starting to get the itch for the season to start again. But the news wire is dead, so wonder if you all think these are HoF stats:
Games Goals Assists Points PIM Playoffs(same stats)
NHL Totals128641357999240210034498324

If this player gets a contract (now you know who it is) and can find 8 more points, they will have 400+ goals, 1000 points. No trophies to speak of.

HoF-worthy or just a nice career?

does he have any international medals? i think the Sedins are in partly because of their points, longevity, commitment to the game and international success. but they also have individual hardware.
