Don’t think the Leafs need to move salary if the Preds eat half.

Should rephrase this - wouldn’t need to move a big salary. They would obviously need some space but 1) LTIR for Hakanpaa, 2) tacking on some easy to move deals going back (Pacioretty, Holmberg, Reaves, Robertson) and 3) moving out some small hit shitty players like Kampf or Benoit would be plenty for now even if Nash only eats a bit instead of half.

In short, it’s doable if there’s willingness from the player and team to actually make a move. And the same goes for any other option that might be available but there aren’t many teams looking to trade a true 1D.

I don’t get the NHLPA appealing for Hartman. Aren’t they at the same time giving Stuztle the middle finger?

I would like to think Marty Walsh is holding his nose whilst this appeal was filed - Also, I'm pretty sure Hartman could call off this appeal if he contacted the NHLPA and instructed them to do so, but that would mean he actually is taking accountability for his actions and there's ample evidence to the contrary.

I am curious if they encourage certain players to not appeal and just take the suspension

Only in crap of NHL standard does the myth of Ryan Hartman be dimmed. It is longstanding use of worthless coach Boudreau who could never have tutored legendary nutshotter Crosby to learn without suspension! But why? Only garbage of OV and his band of ruffians can escaped ragged and lengthy arm of NHL lawyers in crooked Bettman traps. For who will win cups this year? I think we have known this for time now.

I don't know why Bedard was even asked that question, but good on Connor for not taking the bait - He played a pretty good game last night against the Oilers from what I saw and at least he has some personality unlike the other Connor.

heres the segment from yesterday ... it was harsh but honestly not uncalled for from Biz ... and I think Lundqvists comments are spot on ... Bedard is trying to do it all right now and that means not much is gonna be successful.

The one comment from Biz saying "Thats not how McDavid plays" ... caman ... McDavid used to always do shit like this his first couple seasons in the league ... also lets remember Bedard is only a couple years removed from Canlan 4v4 YHL lol

Currently season and trade deadline for the team the Blackhawks start before the Stanley Cup rounds but Chicago still has the edge in the team and these players are left to next october three trades needed before next long season.
