Haven't watched him a lot but I never minded Boqvist. We could probably use a depth RD who can chip in offensively and makes league minimum.
His problem was always staying healthy. I would prefer him over at least 3 guys on our current blue line. When healthy he drives puck movement.

Ya this is why Rantanen wasn’t signing for $12 mil lol

Darren Dreger about to start reporting Mitch’s starting ask as $16 mil.

So these are actually base estimates and it can still rise lol (ie if the loonie isn’t roadkill and the next Canadian TV deal is worth $ALBERTA, I’m guessing).

Also looks like the Leafs will still somehow be subsidizing the smaller teams in the league.

Then either start paying wages in bitcoin or start deferring salary and kicking the can down the road for a future GM to deal with.

All I know is that ticket prices will just go up, up, and up. Might have to paint the ice with ads like they do at the Spengler Cup.

not sure the market in Vancouver could bear more ticket price increases ... not sure if it was posted but Canucks had a last minute student rush night a couple weeks back ... tickets starting at $179 ... with that shite home record? ... the consensus response on reddit was "sure thing chief let me just add that one to my student loans"

Yeah, I was talking about the student rush promotion ticket price the other day with my wife and she couldn't believe it - Should have been $50 maximum and even that's a stretch for students these days.

my wife and I do pretty well but when you tabulate the entire night for 2 tickets, dinner, parking etc... its out of our budget especially for an average franchise.

/ saw a new one on Sunday in Squamish ... 2 parents fighting each other ... parents of kids on the same team (Squamish) lol

// they reached out to our team manager to get further info from one of our players moms and thank her for deescalating lol

A single game ticket to see Gavin McKenna and the Ruck twins at the spanky new arena in Medicine Hat is $23.40. Best bargain around.

It’s probably just as cheap to fly down here for a Ducks game - I recommend flying Flair.

If people didn’t give me tickets I’d never go to a game. And even then I buy a bottle of water and nurse it for 60 minutes.

Not that I have much chance to now anyway although I will be in attendance to watch the Canucks lift their annual Cup next Saturday :D
