When they interviewed Trouba during the intermission. They made a big deal about him being a captain for an “original 6” team.

Curious does anyone really care anymore about the “original 6” in these terms?
Seems to me like it has zero meaning anymore other than a sound bite for the announcers and interviewers. Granted it could just be me.

Yah original 6 captaincy importance is blah blah blah imo

Btw if a player is offered the rangers captaincy they should probably decline because it hasnt ended well for the past 4 captains lol. Mind you Drury was bought out by the rags and came back to be their gm lol

Relying on him as your #1 was always a weird choice coming off a cup.
