I'll say. The Ravens allowing not only a 104-yd kickoff return for a TD, but also a 90-yd punt return for a TD??!! That game should not have been that close.

And the Broncos giving up 2 plays of 40 or more yards in a single game when they had only allowed 2 the entire season...you're right that game shouldn't have been close. The Broncos should have blown them out.

Sure if they got by NE and then SF in the SB. Money is right , Ravens special teams spotted Denver 14 points but Manning threw the pick in OT

And the Broncos spotted them 14 points by allowing 2 plays of 40 or more yards when they had only given up 2 over the entire season. So I would say that equals out.

Yes you are right that they still had to get by 2 more teams. What I meant was balance wise that was the Broncos best team during the Manning era. They had a top-5 offense and defense that had been playing lights out leading up to that game. I think they had won 11 straight games by a touchdown or more. They let that game get away from them by doing some things especially on the defensive side of the ball that they hadn't done all year. Then yeah Manning had a terrible game and some very questionable calls didn't help the situation either. Just all around bad moment to fall apart on both sides of the ball.

Ummm...if Denver only gave up 2 plays of 40 or more yards in the entire regular season, then no other team besides the Ravens had a play over 40 yards against them all year. The Ravens had 2 plays over 40 yards in their regular season game. A pass to J. Jones for 43 yards and a pass to D. Pitta for a 61-yard TD.

I agree, it's a bit ridiculous to speculate what would have happened if one play had been different, and then further speculate that the remaining two games would have automatically been won by that team.
