Harlem resident Bernando LaPallo watched his first Yankee game more than 100 years ago and met Babe Ruth 93 years ago when the slugger first came to New York. According to MLB.com, LaPallo was born three years before the Yankees actually became the Yankees. The World War II veteran still remains extremely active, writing his first book at age 107 and planning to release another on his 112th birthday in August."
