Been reading a lot about the OL and the starters we have now and the backups, new recruits coming in next yr. I seem to get the impression that ND could have one of the best, if not the best OL, in the country? Have not had as much time (new son) to read up on what is going on in ND land, but seems like we have some tough, aggressive, mean SOB that can line up and hit people. Anyone else getting that vib? Man to think what this offense can do is just down right scary.

They can and now they have great depth. Stanley will be a top 5 pick next year. I love how Kelly built the Oline. We just need to do this on the Dline now.

This is as good as its looked since the Holtz days. I really think the offense could be great this year. We have depth everywhere but QB. And we have a running QB. What's the worse that could happen.

Well they have a starter in Zaire and two good or great prospects in Kizer and Winbush. So it's more inexperience to me than no depth.

yeah I agree, both kids were 4 star recruits. I honestly think Winbush will be the back up. i saw the kid play in NJ and he is legit.

I agree about Winbush as the backup. I still like to think about Zaire hitting his potential. Remember, Zaire was the #3 dual threat QB coming out of high school, while JT Barett at Ohio State was #7 in the same class.

I really feel like Zaire is going to bring a new dimension to the offense and I love his competitive nature. In truth Zaire might have beaten Golson for the starting job last year if they had really given him a chance.

Yeah ... let's try something different this year, like getting a lead early in the game and be up like 30 pts in 3rd quarter where we could put these guys in to gain the experience.

Ahhhh .... them were the good ole days.

He stunk in the B & G though.

That's a spring game he'll have even more time to work with the first team now that Golson is gone and not stealing reps from him. That was really the shitty thing about that was he led people to believe he was staying until after stealing reps from Zaire. Also they were game planning the spring game like they were going to have Golson and Zaire on the squad and trying to get both reps so it's harder to get a rhythm going as well.
