Bandit
RIP to the real Bandit
I would definitely do it. It sounds like a nightmare on the commissioner though because I'm guessing you'd have to do all of the scoring manually.I want to gauge interest in an off-season game - an Omniscience league. If nothing else, I expect it to be extremely educational.
It will be structured mostly like a standard ESPN H2H league, except everything will be known in advance: how much every player scores every week, whether they'll play, etc. The league itself will play out fast - a "Week" every two days.
The players will be 2021 players, and their weekly stats will be their weekly stats for the 2021 season.
What will be slow will be the draft, to give people time to digest what all the picks mean, where their holes are, et cetera. Probably a round a day. And contrary to typical leagues, lots of heavy thinking will probably go into the late rounds. With a bench of only seven, planning for bye weeks and how to manage waivers will be crucial.
(There will be a special platform for trades as well, but I'll only get into that if it looks like this will fly.)
So... would anybody from this crowd be interested? We'd probably draft in the first half of January and the league would run until late February.
