Spo has to turn to the winning formula again, take the scrub out of the game, put in anyone else who will contribute better as an offensive player and defender and the heat win this one. they will lose it as long as he is on the floor.

I had a feeling the Thunder would adjust take Perkins out and then take it to us. Let's see if we adjust and settle down and decide to play perimeter defense....this could get ugly real quick.

LBJ again trying to lose a game with his turnovers - Unforced turnovers. Just making retarded decisions. Oh, and another foul on the scrub

The scrub as always wasting possessions jacking up careless 3’s and leads to a foul for him on the other end. maybe now they take him out and we can get back in this

They just look better than the Heat without Perkins in their line up. Almost like they are quicker and more athletic with better defense.

Chalmers very sloppy........whole team but actually must give credit to OKC. If they don't bring it, this could be a twenty point loss at home.

Game thread up for the next game - Since the Heat already quit in this one since the second quarter. NBA should make them play on SB sunday and at the same time -- every year as long as the big 3 is together

Only the Heat allow shots like that at the buzzer

Barring Lebron going off in the 4th or OKC choking in the 4th, this game will likely give Durant a strong edge towards his first MVP. OKC just looks better than the Heat without Perkins.

Too many fade aways and crap from LBJ on his shots instead of just facing the basket and attacking - Another case of him just settling - as the entire team has tonight - jacking up too many 3’s led by the scrub and not enough FT shots and when they do go to the line, they miss

Durant will win the MVP no matter what. He is having the better, more consistent season and he just plays as if he wants it more on a nightly basis - which is something you cant say about LBJ or anyone on the heat.

The Heat got a false sense of where they were after beating a depleted Spurs team without three of their starters at home. This was a total whipping at home. The Heat, after the first and when Perkins got removed, really have looked like a significantly inferior team. Not too sure how many more wake up calls are needed. In games like this, you see Ray aging, Wade and others disinterested, and just unorthodox and uneven play. Troubling. Will get a tough first round match up in the playoffs and will have to beat Indiana on the road...perhaps now they wake up!

Ok Philly guy just trolling. Y'all need to start playing Mason, And Jones. U don't know what ur bench players can do unless u play them. They're getting nothing from Allen and Battier....and Wade is hurt. Get it together Heat.

Mason? Really....you have not seen many games. He has been below average. Ray is looking his age. Probably a great wake up call. Losing by 20 at home on national TV to a team missing their second best player is embarrassing. They don't seem to want to play defense even when it matters.

Not too sure how many more wake up calls are needed.

Wake up call type games should have ended after the failure in year 1 at this point it is unacceptable - But, something you will have to deal with when you have egos on the team . Sadly, at this point, due to the fact that they dont respect the opponent or the regular season - The only way they can really get a wake up call is losing in the finals - which, at this point it seems like they will lose long before the finals.

An 8-6 month for the team. Horrible month without a doubt. The clowns on this board always say these games dont matter, as an excuse for the team giving up these games - Well, playoffs start in April - Finals are in June - It is virtually February already, the final months of the regular season and playoffs are upon us - NOW is the time to get it together or fall short of the goal.

Oh, and the scrub, Shane Battier was a scrub yet again 19 minutes of play, 5 careless 3’s jacked up 1-5 on them for the night wasting possessions and putting the team in bad positions defensively.

This is exactly why that +/- stat people try to bring up to justify the presence of the scrub in the lineup is such a weak argument because the only thing he does is hurt the team when he is on the court.

Expect the Heat to continue to struggle and lack consistency and not reach their potential if they keep the scrub in the starting lineup and giving him any minutes… the moment they remove him from the lineup and stop giving him significant minutes, things will get better for this team drastically… bet on it.

Four4Four, you are correct but this is one of the few problems I have with Spo, he has so many quality guys on the bench that he could use on nights like tonight as you mentioned but he doesnt give them minutes until garbage time - yet, gives garbage players like Shane Battier who does nothing but hurt the team all these minutes.

I dont even know what to say after that game last night.. Up 18 pts in the 1st qtr then they completely fell asleep the rest of the game. Ray Allen needs to see his play time diminished. It is a joke when he takes the ball off the dribble. He needs to stand and shoot and do nothing else. Battier needs to see his playing time cut in half. He has LOST his shot. Just looks awful out there jacking up 3s. Cole needs to stop playting starter minutes. He is good but he gets so sloppy with passes at times. Bosh was aggressive the 1st qtr and tghen he stopped attacking the rim. I dont know why he cant stay consistent.

Im not going to comment on Wade or LBJ, because I believe (hope) that those 2 can just flip a switch mentally and start playing the way we know they can. Last night the switch was just turned off.

Spo is awful at making in game adjustments. The Thunder went straight to small ball when we went on that run. They stopped the run and were coming back. How did we adjust? We put in a struggling Ray Allen and continued to go small. At that point, we should have gone big, forced them to go back big again. And then Spo with his rotations.. Geeez, awful rotations. Where was Haslem? Even JJ would have been nice to give us some 3pt shooting which was killing us.

Funny how some people are now calling for Haslem - considering next to Joel Anthony he has become the most under-apperciated player on this team. UD should have never been removed out of the starting lineup, outside of him being injured , he should always be in the lineup - especially over the useless piece of shit Shane Battier.

Things will not change until that useless scrub is out of the lineup - until LBJ gets his head out of his ass and Wade quits being a diva.
