Ok how does this game finish?

not a hockey guy so if I get this right.
If every player on the ice gets a 10 min penalty with 7 minutes left. I assume they hit the showers early, but how does this game end & does one team or another get an advantage for whoever is left to finish the game? How many players on a team vs. on the ice?

Reason I ask. Is apparently it just recently happened.

Each team rosters 20 players, 18 skaters and 2 goalies, each game and puts five skaters and one goalie on the ice at a time. So everyone on the ice being kicked only put a team down at most 6 players, meaning they still had 14 each to finish the game with.

It’s the NhL - they make up shit as they go. Frankly I’m surprised Vancouver didn’t get fined for that fracas last night.
