I believe so Tox, if the hawks win in regulation they get the 5th seed. If they win in a shootout, i think they own the tiebreakers as well...

I'm torn, i want the hawks out of the playoffs, but if they miss, my 2 western conference teams i want to advance play each other in the first round (nsh/ana).

Regulation win-Jump to 5th seed
OT win-Jump to 5th seed
SO win-Jump to 7th seed (that I'm not sure of, because they'd be tied in ROW as well as points with PHO and NASH)
Regulation loss, coupled with Dallas win-OUT
Regulation loss, coupled with Dallas loss- 8th seed
OT loss- Jump to 7th seed
SO loss-Jump to 7th seed

Basically, the chances are good they move up to 5th by the end of the day.
