yeah I think it will be that as well Dash. but with that management I would not be surprised if it was $7.5 per year for 10 years each

I feel like Eberle may be the stronger player (at least healthier), but it wouldn't surprise me if Hall got more based on his draft position.

I still shake my head at re-signing Hemsky for two more years at $5 million per season - Oh well, rock on Lowebellini.

In other Oilers news, this is interesting (a tweet from IIHF Director of Communications Szymon Szemberg)

"Nail Yakupov's agent Igor Larionov says that, in case of a lockout, Yakupov will play for Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, not return to Sarnia".

I love how there is so much hatred for the Leafs and the Oilers yet they both suck miserably.

lol - I think this is the actual name of the club (like Metallurg Magnitogorsk), but everybody usually just calls them Khimik.

Yeah, that's pretty much Skinner money (and just a little less than the Sedin boys).

Edit: Does Eberle sign for more money and less term (maybe 6.5 million but for six years?!?)

Hey, I think I know who this might be (from the comments section of the TSN article of the Hall signing)

6mil per season for a guy that probably won't even see six playoff games over this contract? Still no D nor G to speak off. Enjoy your lottery party, again, Oilers fans.

If it is indeed him, I'm assuming 1972 is the year of his birth which makes him even more pathetic. A bratty teenager would've made sense. A 40 year old pulling that crap? Wow.

More money per than JT. I like it!!

as much as it would piss you off, i would love for the flyers to offer sheet the crap out of JT so the isles couldn't match (if that's still available when his current contract is up, i dont know the details).. he absolutely terrifies me everytime the flyers play the isles.. if he weren't doing it mostly on his own, he would be right up there with the malkin's/crosby's of the league in points i think
