"MIZUHARA messaged BOOKMAKER 1 stating, “Have you seen the reports?” BOOKMAKER 1 responded, “Yes, but that’s all bullshit. Obviously you didn’t steal from him. I understand it’s a cover job .. MIZUHARA then responded, “Technically I did steal from him. it’s all over for me.” "

My question is: He stole $16M but lost $40M so where did he get the other $24M to pay off his debt?

When Pete Rose and ohtani are mentioned in the same sentence...isn't it implied?

Why would the federal government charge the interpreter if he is simply lying and covering for ohtani? Think about that?

How is the interpreter taking the fall? Is the DOJ making up charged now?
Why is it implied. When Rose was banned it wasn’t because he bet on baseball. He never admitted nor did baseball have any proof. He admitted to gambling and was banned.

Unless the dude is taking the fall for Ohtani he would’ve done what every other person does and plead not guilty and put up a defense as it is a he said/she said except for instead of multiple people committing a crime it’s only one person. It’s what mafia did for decades.

DOJ was investigating the federal illegal betting, not sure what charges you are implying are made up. A federal crime was committed by Ohtani’s account wiring money.

The complaint states that between Dec. 2021 and this January, Mizuhara allegedly placed "approximately 19,000 wagers."Losing bets: $182.94 millionWinning bets: $142.27 millionTotal losses: nearly $40.7 millionThe seized records "do not reflect any bets on baseball games."
And we are suppose to believe a bookie is going to give out that much of a loan to a dude who reportedly made 300k a year? Or that a bookie isn’t going to do his due diligence when they are going to give out that much money?

I said the same thing but thought he made $100K. Just my bad guess.
