I mean, there was talk in the beginning of this thread about not looking at past matchups, Texas fell apart in the 4th quarter in both, could just be a coincidence I guess

I really like ND and their Head Coach, but I don't see any scenarios where ND can beat them short of +3 or +4 turnovers. Texas has a tremendously talented team and OSU was just a little better. ND can do a fantastic defensive job on OSU and still give up 26-28 points. ND isn't scoring that many against this D
ND’s D-line being banged up could be the difference although they played pretty well against PSU but like you said OSU O and PSU O are not the same

I meant to say Arizona State.

I know Ohio State is great on the goal line. But running wide with one blocker to handle 4 defenders seems counter productive. And it was.

3 Tush Pushes would have had a better chance.
Put in Manning and do one QB sneak, one RB run and one QB option run if necessary. But you never go backwards against a D that talented. That play had no chance from jump

Yeah, PSU moved the ball well and they had zero WR catches(granted, they have a great freaking TE). The ND corner being hurt will be a huge deal against this offense. I thought Texas had the exact game plan ND should try and copy, Jeremiah Smith gets bracketed the entire game and you make other guys beat you

Texas rushed for 1100 yards versus Clemson, Michigan, A&M, and Florida.
Those were the 4 best wins of the season.

Texas rushed for 234 total yards in the two Georgia games, Arizona State, and Ohio State....which included 4 overtimes as well to get more rushes.
They were lucky to get 1 win and go 1-3 in those games.

They simply refused to even attempt running the ball at times this season.
I can understand if the other team is putting 9 in the box and shutting it down.....but that is never the case...

Sarkisian's love affair with Ewers and a very shaky passing attack ultimately ruined a very good season.
He has some explaining to do.

Nice breakdown, I see nothing that can be refuted there
