Uh huh, and they still only lost two other games, in the final seconds, to teams that finished in the top 5. They could've had Jaylon Smith the whole game, it wouldn't have mattered. We steamrolled them.

Can't help but laugh that you're trying to bring up guys that didn't play the entire season as a reason they lost to Ohio State. They didn't have them against Clemson or Stanford and they damn near won both of those games on the road, yet they got smoked against OSU.
So desperate for validation. It is sad. I guess by using your logic, since MSU lost 38-0 to Alabama, yet beat OSU. Bama would be roughly a 40 point favorite if they played OSU

I'm not the one who keeps trying to make completely unfounded arguments just because they're my opinion.

Also, your logic here makes no sense whatsoever. I wasn't using the transitive property at all. I'm saying ND played like a top 10 team in every game they played this year and then got shelled by Ohio State.

As usual, "TrustMeIAmRight" is completely wrong.

They did? We're they a top 10 team when they needed a last minute TD to beat Virignia? What about the 3-9 Boston College -- were they a top 10 team when they won by a field goal? Or against USC when they were trailing by a touchdown in the 4th quarter before winning? Or against Temple where it took a TD with 2 minutes left to win by 4?:L

Using that logic since MSU beat MI by 4 and tOSU by 3 then THE Game should have been close.

How did that work out?

Yup, they were still top 10 then. Was MSU still top 10 when they lost to 6-7 Nebraska? Or when they barely escaped cellar-dwelling Purdue by 3 points? How about narrowly escaping 4-8 Rutgers?

Pretty much every top team had hiccups along the way this year, dumbshit. That doesn't mean they weren't still top teams. My god, you're an idiot.

Ask Across the Field. I'm just using his logic of comparing a teams value by how they fared against other teams.

No you're not, you're trying to use the transitive property to predict game spreads like an ignorant fool. Which is par for the course for you.

You are just proving point even more. Looks like MSU was a product of the big ten, like OSU and Iowa this year.
And my thoughts on ND were fed to me from a die hard ND fan. It is the only reason I know about all the injuries and all the close games. At some point u will get that thru your head.

All I did was take your thought process a step further and predicted the final score.

Then when u said they played like a top 10 team all year. I pointed out the list of games they squeaked out. When you pointed out josh Adams was a stud -- I pointed out he was their 3rd string RB. I also said, IF they stayed healthy and didn't lose their starting QB, RB, TE, DT, CB and safety for the season. YES, they would have been a legit top 10 team.

The best part of all this is. I've said from the start. OSU is one of the top teams in the country, yet u STILL get upset if someone says anything to tarnish their greatness and then come up with a list of excuses why.
OSU did exactly what they should have done to ND. Doesn't change the fact, the best team they played this year was MSU and they lost. Do I think MSU is a better team? No. Do I think Meyer was outcoached? Yes. Do I think weather helped MSU? Yes.

Except you don't know anywhere near as much as you think you do, a recurring theme. You already claimed MSU was a top 10 team. Don't go back on it now because I showed you how your logic makes you contradict yourself.

My point was, even without Golson, Folston, and Zaire, they went 10-2 in the regular season (definitely a top 10 worthy record), and their only two losses were against two elite teams, on the road, in the final seconds. That's a damn nice resume. Getting shelled by Ohio State doesn't suddenly negate all they accomplished, which according to folks exponentially smarter than you, was enough to merit a top 10 ranking.

No you predicted the spread, which is equally retarded. Never, ever once did I try and use the outcomes of those 2 games as an indication of how they would do against Ohio State. I said the outcome of all of their games, those two included, are the resume of a top 10 team, and the people that matter agreed. Want to go down the list?

Was Oklahoma a top 10 team when they lost to a 5-7 Texas team, or barely got past an injury-riddled TCU team?

Was Clemson top 10 when they barely beat this ND team that evidently wasn't that good at home, or when they barely escaped a horrible 3-9 SCar team?

Was Ole Miss a top 10 team when they barely got past a horrible Vanderbilt team and got their doors blown off by Memphis?

Who else you want to talk about? Every top team in the country this year had games they should've won more handily. How do you not know this happens every year??

Did u miss where I said UM was ranked in the top 10 this year? There isn't a chance in hell UM was a top 10 team, yet those really smart people you talk about had them in there for quite a bit.

On any given day, MSU and michigan were pretty much equal. I think Notre Dame was a little better than both.

Then that would mean there is a pretty good chance in hell. There's a reason they're all paid a lot for their opinions while you're just trumpeting yours our anonymously on a message board. Per the usual, you're trying to combat me with simply your opinion while I'm bringing facts. Can't bring water balloons to a tank battle, buddy.

And there are the excuses again. I could have put your answer down before you even typed it. The best team you played is the team missing 33% of their starters and finished with 3 losses. Not the team you lost to and was in the college football playoff:pound:

UM was put in the top 10 by default. They didn't play a good team til the end of the year. The same way Florida was top 10 by default. They played a weak side of the SEC.
FYI. The facts you are bringing to the battle are nothing more than the opinion of others. Just saying.

Yes. Josh Adams, the stud third string RB, which I'm sure you knew that though. Tarean Folston and CJ Prosise were the 1st and 2nd string.
Folston was lost for the year. Prosise missed action, first with a concussion, then with an ankle injury.
You can talk up any team you'd like. But outside of Michigan. The team I know inside and out is unfortunately ND.
Their own fans will tell you they won with smoke and mirrors, and say Brian Kelly was a miracle worker this year

Smoke and mirrors? You sound like a fucking moron. ND was #3 in the country in offensive efficiency this year, despite all those injuries on offense. They scored 30+ against Stanford who ended up #3 in the country. ND played like shit against Clemson and still almost one.

And Josh Adams is a stud, 3rd string or not. Just because Michigan's 3rd string RB is a fat piece of shit doesn't mean every teams is.

There was literally not a single excuse in my response. What the hell is wrong with your head? I think you've had about enough.
