Yes. It is much better to form my own from reading articles written by someone else. Why listen to the guys who went to the school and attend the games. :L

I literally have no clue what the hell you are talking about. I have done nothing but provide you with facts, you've done nothing but provide opinion of people who went to ND and act like that opinion is qualified.

Boston College had a good defense, they also had one of the worst offenses in college football. And they aren't the #1 ranked defense in terms of efficiency. That would be like I said Alabama.

Team Efficiencies - 2015 - ESPN

Also, your really not proving anything to dismiss your notion that ND was all "smoke and mirrors"

ND efficiency ranks:
Offense: #3
Defense: #61
Special Teams: 6
Overall: 8
The same ranking system has michigan 11th. I watched every second of every michigan game. I would give us top 25, but nowhere near 11th. Any team we played with half a defense completely shut down the run game. We lacked depth on the DL and when injuries piled up. Teams exposed the defense. Solid team. Great job by the coach. No chance they are the 11th best team

I don't give a shit about Michigan. ND had an elite offense and elite special teams. ND had an average defense, and it cost them the Stanford game. They were literally one missed fg from finishing the season in the top 5. That's not "smoke and mirrors"

Iowa was smoke and mirrors.

As I recall, Notre Dame had a good SoS.

A couple of drunk fans know better than the experts, you seriously need to step up your game.

And who were ND's signature wins against? Just give me one signature win. 6 loss USC? Temple? Virginia?

This should be easy then. Who were the signature wins for ND this past season? Meant to post this to u, but accidentally posted it to 420

There is more to judging teams than wins and losses. In fact, when I did my computer rankings, wins and losses was something I never looked at until it came to ranking teams.

Navy, Temple and USC were all ranked in the CFP poll at the end of the regular season.

So they didn't have one. Got it.

Christ you're the fucking worst. ND doesn't have any top 10 wins. If that's what you were looking for then they don't have a signature win.

Also, all this bull shit STILL does nothing to dispel the notion about ND being "smoke and mirrors".

Michigan fans remind me why I don't want to see Tennessee be successful.

The few Tennessee fans that post now are pretty cool for the most part, but if they ever have any real success, the flood gates of ignorance will flow heavily.

That whole "be careful what you wish for" thing... I was hoping to see michigan become somewhat good again so we could have some more classic matchups. However, the michigan fans on here...good god.

So the team I said was a top 25 team, but not a top 10 team has a signature win over......Navy.
And I'm clueless? Got it.

What is wrong with someone saying Brian Kelly was a miracle worker this year with the laundry list of injuries the team dealt with?
And also saying they were a top 10 team before losing 1/3 of their starters to injury?

You're doing a very nice job deflecting away from the reason I called you out. You said ND's season was all "smoke and mirrors". I back that up with the fact they were the #3 offense and #6 special teams according to efficiency and #8 overall(which takes into account schedule strength, which I'm sure you didn't know) and you try and give me the opinion of your brother and two other people who went to ND as if that means something.

You posted stats and I asked you about results. Congrats on an efficient offense, but what did it get you? A signature win over Navy?

ND was elite in 2/3 of their units. ND had an average defense. As a by product ND was elite overall(8th). ND was 10-3 having played a top 20 schedule strength. But yeah their entire season was "smoke and mirrors".

Do you know what "smoke and mirrors" means?

OK. You are right. Notre Dame is elite. They just lost to the only three elite teams they played and their best win was against Navy. I stand corrected.
