I find it funny that you think that is so devastating on Iowa. That was Ferentz's 1st year as coach and his worst season as coach. Iowa went 1-10 and Nebraska went 12-1.

Yeah, who would have thought Iowa was gonna get killed by Nebraska that season? Oh yeah...Everybody.

It is the fact that a QB ruined a d-bag, err, back on that play...

What are you taking douche lessons from herky now? Since when does 'lel' = "devastating"?

No QB should ever be trucking a defensive player. It's damn funny and if you don't like it....

Record wise, yes it was Ferentz's worst year but last year was his worst year!!! Just pathetic.

Yeah, I guess I can agree with that given that Iowa had enough talent to, at least, make a bowl game. I was extremely disappointed by Ferentz last year. Vandy took 100% of Iowa's snaps and there were plenty of opportunities for one of the backups to step in.

I am not even sure I want to watch the game this season. Iowa doesn't look very good and that is not considering the schedule. I'd be happy if they made a bowl game. Huskers have the talent and schedule to be in the NCG hunt, at least the very least BCS.

But they haven't shown to have the coaching.

If Nebraska comes out of that Penn St game with a win and are either 11-0 or 10-1, I'll be scared to death of that Iowa game in Lincoln. Perfect opportunity for a bofart.

Except for the whole Iowa part of that scenario.

If I was a Nebraska fan, I would be more worried about playing Iowa if the Huskers had nothing to play for, especially if Iowa has 5 wins going into it.

Huskers have had plenty to play for over the years and laid an egg each time.

Pelini can't seem to keep their heads out of the clouds when they're on the verge of getting to the next level.

The quote that best describe bo tenure here.

Like that last time they played Iowa State? Or one of the last times. Whenever that was.

Sort of...That was a long time ago in my mind, and a classic bofart with 8 or 9 turnovers. Northwestern 2 years ago in Lincoln is another one.

Pelini's tenure is littered with Husker fans finally starting to trust "The process" in getting to the next level, only to have their hearts ripped out in jaw dropping fashion.
It's become a trend and I don't know why anyone would expect that it has ended. I thought we'd have seen the end of it last year. Then came UCLA (first year coach), Ohio St (first year coach/beat down), CCG (beat down by 7-5 team that they beat earlier).

They played 3 solid quarters against Georgia though, but couldn't finish.

I sometimes think Pelini outsmarts himself in game week prep. LOL

IMO I think bo and staff have too much pride in their game plan and don't have many back up plans or plan enough to know what to do when they get punch in the mouth.why I say this is we have watch to many times that when I team figures Neb out which is by the second qtr they adjust and Nebraska is too slow to or doesn't make adjustments. A game plan should be like a rough draft not set in stone. Too many times I see teams punch Nebraska and all of sudden they don't know how to act or react.

The composure of this team or mental strength is the no1 thing that has to be fix. Yes we have come back from 17 pts but those teams we did it against we should have never been down that much in the first place. Self inflicted wounds seems to be the theme with Bo you can't expect to win big fans shooting your self in the foot and still trying to beat a good team

Just by composure factor bo would have more wins if with the talent we have. Go back to the vatech game, or most of the games in 09. Tex,Tamu game in '10 and every big game in 2011-2012. This staff and team as a whole gets whipped by even or better talent or coaching staff. Just my opinion

New Technology at Kinnick: Game Data Inside the North Ribbon Board - Iowa Official Athletic Site

Because I am not smart enough to post pics on here I will just post the link to the story and the pics.

Iowa, you make me laugh. Colorado tried poking the bear in the 80's when they were desperate for a rival. Now you? The difference is that Colorado was actually good.

Weisman with 174 yards and 3 TDs and you beating Nebraska?

Why don't you focus on figuring out how to put a game clock on your cute little ribbon board instead of poking the bear to your west.

When you posted this in July, you obviously forgot we have Mad Dog as our coach.

He who laughs last, laughs best in 2013...for the record, I do hope you win your bowl game, if they kids would ever execute to Bo's game plan your team would be better than Alabama.
