It appeared to almost be deja vu to this UK fan. Just 48 hours ago I saw UK implode after a couple of very suspect calls went against them late in the game. Wisconsin seemed to do the exact same thing. Both teams let a bad call beat them twice and you never win when that happens.

No doubt about it, you're going to get a LOT of bitching on here, but funny thing is that I've seen articles on 2 or 3 different non-sports sites blasting the refs for poor officiating that favored duke.

Seriously, Wisconsin fans, at some point Bo is going to have to admit he could have coached the game and, in particularly, the second half better than he did. Frank Kaminsky should have sat down for at least 2 minutes in the second half while Okafer was sitting. The refereeing was not good but didn't have as much to do with the loss as did the fact that Wisconsin only got 23 minutes from its bench and only played 7 guys. In my opinion, of course.

But it was OK when his players hacked when UK penetrated the middle...or used their fore-arms to gain advantage when they went to the basket...using hip thrusts and leg trips setting picks...got some of the dirtiest little tricks in the book...and it didn't bother him a bit that they shot twice as many free-throws as UK?

Didn't bother him a bit that the refs spotted his team 4 points on a shot-clock violation a Middle-School ref could determine...or the loose ball the Wisconsin guard scooped up and laid in from out of bounds...and never established himself on the court before he touched the ball...yes...and I know Lyles should have been hit with a flagrant 1...but with the obvious direction the refs were going...that would be the only break UK got during the game....

Bo...you're crying about the same thing your team got away with when you beat a team that was better than you...be grateful you made it to the championship game...that is about as good as you are...a runner-up...and that's really giving you more than you deserve.....
