They may have scored the same amount of points as the Rams but if you show me anyone who wouldn't take Marshall Faulk, Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt and Kurt Warner over Julio Jones and a fantasy football freak and I will show you a dumbass.

The 2013 Broncos are still the best offense in the history of the game.
Atlanta has superior players overall imo. Warner was great but Ruan right now is playing at a better level, Jones is better right now than Bruce or Holt and the combo of Freeman and Coleman is pretty similar statistically to Faulk. Add in Sanu and Gabriel and it's slight edge Atlanta right now. Not career wise obviously but that's 20/20 hindsight and those guys careers are over where the Falcons guys are mostly all 28 or younger. LIke I said I know most people won't agree because they can't look at only the specific seasons without letting career numbers seep in

Wait 1 Julio Jones is the equivalent of the combo of Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt?

Oh wait, Falcons fan....

No Julio is better than either. Not both BUT Sanu and Gabriel are the equivalent of the other

I don't agree but like I said I don't expect people to be able to distinguish the year from the careers

I'll wait a bit to get going. First I'm going to need a few retarded Pats fans to talk about how Atlanta isn't going to drop 38 on them. It's never fun to start the smack talk so if a dumb ass Pats fan can tell me how Belichick is going to "put together a scheme" to hold Atlanta under 500 yards I'd appreciate your nonsensical jibber jabber to get me going. I don't like to start the shit talk ya know??

Too late, amigo.

People want to make comparisons and draw conclusions from a SB from long ago, but what happened that game is irrelevant. I think the Falcons should win this matchup. I was a little more confident before watching them (Pats) stomp the Steelers, but still think the Falcons prevail.:thumb:

Marshall averaged 144 yards per game rushing and receiving in the playoffs the year they lost to the Patriots. Freeman and Coleman are a combined 88 yards per game rushing and receiving in the playoffs.

Marshall Faulk > (Freeman+Coleman)

Matt Ryan looks locked in and Julio Jones might be an alien. The Pats have their hands full.

Ok, so maybe I'm not good at the smack talk.

Atlanta has far more weapons than that STL team. Those guys were studs but Atlanta isn't dependent on 2/3/4 guys. The Falcons have 9 guys with 20 plus catches and 6 with 30+. They are simply far more difficult to defend and while Warner was a great QB he never had a year equivalent to Ryan's this year. That's just fact

Kurt Warner 2001
Yards - 4830, TD - 36, Comp. % - 68.7, Y/Attempt - 8.8

Matt Ryan 2016
Yards - 4944, TD - 38, Comp. % 69.9, Y/Attempt - 9.26

I would say that is pretty equal.

Sure and neither does previous years results. You win games with talent and Atlanta has more of it. That said I think it'll come down to whoever has the ball last
You do realize NE had the # 1 scoring defense right?
The better question would be how is MYlanta going to stop NE from putting up 40.
Your inexpirence in playoff smack talk is cute.

Most efficient in history by advanced metrics.
Last time I checked advanced metrics didn't play D nor score a point. This is the SB welcome to Patriot time. We'll leave a trail of bread crumbs so you can find your way little lost soul.

Yeah, I am going to assume it's just inexperience from Falcons fans.

"The Atlantas can't be stopped! We have mad stats!"

The Rams had 6 guys with 30+ receptions in 2001.

Would you like to make another blind reach?

No I stand by what I said. This offense is more diverse and dangerous top to bottom and is playing it's best right now
