Not sure if anyone posted these tweets from Ira Winderman (Heat beat writer)

Heat's use of exceptions is a game-changer when it comes to Bosh. There no longer is any need to ask him to take significantly less.

In fact, this is the way the Bosh camp wanted it to go. With Heat not needing space, there basically is no need for Bosh to take any cut.

Ira Winderman @IraHeatBeat · 2h
To sum up: The storyline of Heat asking Bosh for major cut no longer is a storyline. Plenty of room left before luxury-tax "cliff

I just don't understand the continued narrative of Heat asking Bosh to take a major pay cut. By Heat using exceptions there is no such need

An easier way is use the TWEET command and copy the long number in the url, between the sashes. Very easy...FYI

I am not sure how accurate he is or that he is just might be parsing words by using the term "major pay cut"

If we take the contacts who are on the team now, counting the draft pick & FA signings, that comes out to roughly $12+ mil for 4 players. If you add the big 3 at what their likely to get, that adds another $60 mil. That leaves you with $72+ mil for only 7 players. That roughly leaves you with 9 mil to fill 6+ roster spot before you hit the $81 mil hard cap which the Heat can't exceed because they used the MLE.

So if you don't ask Bosh to take a "major pay cut", you are looking at very little money left to add quality guys.

I am not sure what the Heat beat writer is smoking.

Edit: That is not counting Justin Hamilton's non-guaranteed contract of $816K.

Either Lebron signs or they move on. Can't see it being any other way.

No way would they sign Granger/McBob if they were under the assumption that Lebron will be gone

Pretty sure he knows more than you and I. He's been doing this for nearly 30 years now.

He can play Center against some centers but I think mostly they can use him a stretch 4. If the Heat doesn't sign a C (like Jordan Hill or so), I think if the big 3 comes back he will be the starting PF w/Bosh at Center

I guarantee they didn't sign either one without Brons blessing in the first place

I know they said that the Heat told Lebron they were pursing McRoberts since last week. Assuming he gave them the ok or else they wouldn't have signed him

Yes. Melo is a much better offensive player than Bosh.

I honestly think that is the last option though
