Channing frye to magic 4 years 32 million. That's a lot of cash 8 million? Frye is valuable to a team but damn that's a lot

Overpay. I am glad the Suns didn't choose to match. But this makes me wonder why they weren't more aggressive with Hawes. To me Hawes is the better player right now & years younger, yet signed for half the money.

Broussard couldn't even get it right. The offer for Bosh was 4 yrs/$88 mil, not $96

Suns need to move on from the Lebron sweepstakes. He's not coming, if he does I'll eat my own foot.

Everyone is getting overpaid....What's new?

Outside of Lowry & I guess Diaw/Mills, who the hell got money they deserved or got underpaid?

Not sure what Orlando is doing after their draft and that signing.

At most, Frye deserved the MLE, around 5.3 million per season. This is insane.

They have Tobias Harris (he can play either forward spot), Kyle O'Quinn, Aaron Gordon, and Andrew Nicholson.

What's their plan?

He opted out of $6.8 mil. So I assumed he would likely get 3 years at $18-21 mil. But to get a 4th year at an average of $8 mil a years seems like way too much.

Dirk is going to make $10 mil this year, Frye will get $8 million. Jesus Christ.

I thought it was a mistake for him to opt out of that deal....I'm not always right. Apparently, his agent knew what he could fetch on the open market.

I'm sitting here stunned.

They are overloaded at PF, unless they are going to pay him 8 million a season to be a stretch 5 and backup Vucevic.

:laugh3:

Or trade one of the young PF's. I just don't know what Orlando's plan is.

Not sure if anyone posted these tweets from Ira Winderman (Heat beat writer)

Heat's use of exceptions is a game-changer when it comes to Bosh. There no longer is any need to ask him to take significantly less.

Ira Winderman @IraHeatBeat · 2h
In fact, this is the way the Bosh camp wanted it to go. With Heat not needing space, there basically is no need for Bosh to take any cut.

Ira Winderman @IraHeatBeat · 2h
To sum up: The storyline of Heat asking Bosh for major cut no longer is a storyline. Plenty of room left before luxury-tax "cliff

Ira Winderman @IraHeatBeat · 49m
I just don't understand the continued narrative of Heat asking Bosh to take a major pay cut. By Heat using exceptions there is no such need

This is true. Also they probably laid it out on how much they're going to pay everyone
