Shit. Lebron gone. I don't know much about Josh McRoberts. @Lakers fans: Is he decent for the mid-level?

Charlotte's Josh McRoberts emerging as serious free agent candidate for Miami, sources tell Yahoo. Realistic option at mid-level exception.

In my parallel universe, Lebron's from Miami. Try to keep up, Rob.

Maybe you are getting Wade and LBJ mixed up. Wade was drafted by Miami. This will always be wades team until he retires.

He isn't anything special. He would be a decent pick up for Miami.

With LBJ, Cleveland is a 1 or 2 seed in the East.

Damn, purguy. We're about to have a role reversal. I don't think they would be better than Chicago (if Rose is healthy) and Indiana.

That Cleveland roster outside of Irving is just potential and youth. Also, as much as people knock Wade for health issues, why not the same for Irving?

Parallel universe, purguy:

1. Wade drafted by Cavs.
2. Lebron drafted by Heat.
3. For shit and shennanigans, Lebron's from Miami to fill the narrative.

I was merely saying that if the situations were a complete reversal, and Miami fans had burned Lebron's jersey, then we'd deserve the same misery Cavs fans have endured. If Lebron leaves, I won't be a big fan of his, but I won't burn his jersey (considering I don't own one), but that's beside the point.

OKC needs to push for Gasol. IMO they will be legit title contenders, over the Spurs

I like McRoberts.
Plays a physical game inside, and can bury a 3 on offense.

LOL. He goes back to Akron where he's from, he doesn't go back to Cleveland. There is a difference. I think you under value the importance of an owner. Ask any Lakers fan if they wished Dr. Buss was still alive to run the team. I'm sure you'll get an astounding "yes". Yes, at the end of the day it's the coaches and players who win titles, not the owners. But, as you saw with the whole Sterling fiasco, a team's owner still plays a significant part.

Hell yes. In fact, I believe that the only reason that the Lakers became the top threat after the Knicks to get 'Melo is because when they met with him, the meeting was handled much more like Dr. Buss would have handled it as opposed to last years Dwight fiasco. I believe it was handled that way because Jeanie was involved and of the Buss kids, she is the one who is said to be most like their father.

And  at some of the posters on here (not you Heatles) trying to speak in absolutes and thinking they have any idea what these guys are thinking or are going to do.

Im a big Bulls fan but Im not ready to say they are a top 3 team until I see Rose play and who they pick up in FA market. As of right now I have Bulls in the 4-5 seed. Pacers would be #1 right now, Wash #2(again this is not knowing where LBJ will end up.) Back at Miami they are a #1-2 seed, With Cleveland I see them as a #2 seed.

Also if pacers lose Lance that changes things. A lot of stuff going on and its hard to pick seeds right now.

I just want LBJ and Melo to pick a team now so we get this FA market going. A lot of teams and players are waiting on these 2. At least one of them should pick by now.

Since LeBron has left, Cleveland has had the #1 pick 3 times and 5 picks in the top 4. The fact that they do not already have a roster able to compete for a 4-5 seed in the East is a testament to just how bad Cleveland's front office really is.

The thing is, it isn't like they picked a Greg Oden and got unlucky. They reached for players that NOBODY would have taken in the spots they took them and missed horribly. The Waiters pick was pretty bad. They were not going to take Lillard since the already had Kyrie, but they could have had Barnes, Ross, or Drummond who would all have been much better fits.

Saying that Gilbert wanted to take Oladipo does not do the pick justice. Anthony Bennett was not on the radar to be the number 1 pick. Nobody else would have taken him there. The mistake of drafting Waiters in 2012 did not really allow them to take a similar, but better Oladipo in 2013, so instead they compounded it by making what could arguably be considered the worst draft pick of all time.

Well Bennett was the problem, but like I said he vouched for Oladipo and I don't know what happened. Irving is young and a stud. Wiggins was this year. Thompson was a top 5, it took him awhile to adjust but he has been a pretry solid double double guy and defensive guy. Waiters is the question, he is a really good offense player but seems like a ballhog and doesn't have good chemistry.

So Waiters and Bennett haven't been good picks. But they are missing that big piece to go with Kyrie and nobody wants in Cleveland.

I doubt the worst pick ever, bc if you pay a guy and he is injuried his whole career that is a lot worse than a guy getting 8 points off the bench as a rookie. And I go back to the point Bennett has only played one year, so it can't be the worst pick ever...yet!

Bottomline: If he goes to Cleveland all will be forgotten, it's business. Some of you fans have to realize that. Business is business.

You know how many partners have fallouts and then close another deal. Same thing. They were never best friends, they were business partners.

I agree if he went back that all would be forgiven.
That is all Gilbert and the fans can hope for.

I just don't see it happening ever, and especially now.

If he left Miami, now, after all of the current success here and failed to win a championship next season he would be lambasted.
If he wants to leave here, fine, but he needs to leave when there is a valid reason.
Riley has never let him down and never will.

Char just said they would match Heats offer for McRoberts. Char is making McRoberts their #1 priority.

If Cleveland burned jerseys, the Jersey shore residents would of burned the city down. And we have to go on the basis that Miami wasn't won a ship on a long time and fans get a once a lifetime athlete to come to Miami.

Man, if you can't understand the difference between Cleveland and Miami's roster situation than I can't help you. You think Miami's rolling out with a line up of Cole and Napier next season and aren't going to get other players? I guess Miami's going to have to go to the TNT crew and ask Barkley, Kenny, and Shaq if they can fill out the rest of the starting roster.

Miami has this thing called flexibility. They can either miss out on everyone where they only bring Wade back or they can have Bosh head to Houston and Lebron come back to Miami with Melo in tow.

If they did, the Heat could still beat Cleveland.

It is age and injury. Irving has shown his potential and he has all the talent in the world. Age will catch up to you.

That being said I still think Wade has a productive 2 years, full seasons probably not. But right now Irving is better than or equal to Wade.

I agree, but say LBJ signs a 2 year option to leave after 1. Lebron sees how Wiggins progresses and KLove next year?

I just don't think now is the time to leave Miami.

Irving needs to learn how to defend his peers.
Until that happens, he'll never be ' that ' guy.

He is talented, but even more hyped.

Results speak for themselves.
No playoff games in his career in the EC.
Cavs have worst winning % in the NBA since James left.
Those are FACTS that Gilbert can't sugarcoat.
