I agree, but say LBJ signs a 2 year option to leave after 1. Lebron sees how Wiggins progresses and KLove next year?

I just don't think now is the time to leave Miami.

I will agree that if there is ever a time to go back,
it would be then if all the young guys are living up to expectations.

Irving needs to learn how to defend his peers.
Until that happens, he'll never be ' that ' guy.

He is talented, but even more hyped.

Results speak for themselves.
No playoff games in his career in the EC.
Cavs have worst winning % in the NBA since James left.
Those are FACTS that Gilbert can't sugarcoat.

Playoff games has nothing to do with hype and he has has injuries, once he goes down Cleveland has no leader whatsoever. Saying a player is overrated when they are on a lackluster team is always confusing, bc you don't know how they will play if they have other great players.

His contract was deserving.

Also you have this to throw out there.

Another stat irving has never shot over 46% wade has never shot under 46%. Wade 2.04 RPM irving -1.39. Isiah Thomas was on a shit team by the way and ranked 7th out of PGs irving was 40th and was on a shit team just like Thomas just saying

I hope u are right about Bulls being an option but with the reports out there it looks like NY and Lakers with NY with the edge.

Does Melo want to win or wants the money and its looking like he wants the money.

Here's the problem with what you say about "he wants the money". It assumes that neither the Knicks or the Lakers have any kind of a future plan to win. The way some of us fans think is funny. If he comes to YOUR team, it's because he wants to win. But if he goes to someone else's team, then he just wants the money.

Chances are, neither team is winning anything next season, even if they get 'Melo. The Bulls would have a chance depending on what the Heat do.

It is said that among the things that 'Melo liked in the Lakers presentation was the lack of long term contracts and the Lakers plans for the future.

The Knicks are in a little bit worse spot than the Lakers, but if you think Phil doesn't have a solid plan for the future, you haven't been paying attention.

Bottom line, with the Lakers or the Knicks, 'Melo can possibly have his money AND a chance to win.

Thomas is on just as equal of a bad team and he still had more impact than irving

Shit. Lebron gone. I don't know much about Josh McRoberts. @Lakers fans: Is he decent for the mid-level?

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA 1m
Charlotte's Josh McRoberts emerging as serious free agent candidate for Miami, sources tell Yahoo. Realistic option at mid-level exception.

I liked McBob when he was a Laker. High energy, athletic, etc. He also seems to have improved since going to a team where he has been getting a lot of playing time.

Sorry, often the Cavs played as well or better when he was inured.
Look at their record with or without him.

They had 5 less wins, how is that more of an impact. Kyrie made the All-Star team for a reason, that's why the Kings offered him $3-$4 mil below his asking price.

I said they have no leader, which is true, plus it is just a small sample.

So lets say Lebron goes back to Cleveland, and miami somehow ends up winning another title, does that mean LBJ doesnt even compare to Wade?

I feel like if Lebron does leave if won't be as appreciated as he should be.

Cleveland loved him, and it was a love-hate relationship. That is why they overreacted. They appreciated him so much, but they just hated him leaving.

Hypothetical, but then Wade is the King.

Which I venture to say will never happen :laugh3:

On off splits are way different and Thomas has made his teamates better than irving difference is the conferences

Seeing how Bulls, Rockets and Mavs are all engaged with other free agents sure suggests they buy premise Melo is down to Knicks and Lakers
