Philly getting worse and worse.
You're right, it is funny, Lillard's actually won a game in the playoffs.
Look at the numbers
Solid comment. Yeah, I think the Cavs with Lebron and Love should win at least one NBA title in the next six years. Lets face the facts, James will be 36 and love will be 32 in six years, so now is the time for them to start winning titles together.ESPECIALLY great deal for the Cavs if what Woj is reporting is true and Love has given his personal commitment to sign a 5 year 120 million extension- and - Cavs have that in their backpocket anyway being able to offer the most money and the 5th year---- between that and playing with LeBron is a very high probability that he keeps his word and you have Kyrie and Love signed with the Cavs for the next 6 years- along with LeBron into his twilight. ---- that should give them a bunch of shots at this thing-
its strange to think- LeBron/Love/Kyrie should be together barring something strange happening for the next 6 years- and i dont think there is a person on here- unless they are really really hateful to the Cavs - taht would say they wont win one title in that span
that means the drought at some point will be broken- i mean- its fairly inevitable isnt it? ISNT IT?!!! PLEASE LET IT BE!!!
Heat, I agree, but remember when Gary Payton and Karl Malone joined the Lakers they were already old men. Also when Nash joined the Lakers he was an old man. As far as Howard, he never did fit in with the Lakers and I'm not too sure if he will ever win a title with the Rockets.Lakers fans will be the first to tell you that assembling an all-star team in the preseason doesn't always equate to an NBA title. In 2004 they had Shaq and Kobe along with Gary Payton and Karl Malone. Chemistry issues clearly played a factor, but the final result remained the same.
Fast forward to 2012 and even us Heat fans thought we may see the Lakers in the Finals when they acquired Dwight Howard and Steve Nash. But defense and injuries derailed that team. Which right now is the question with this Cavs roster.
Barely
How many GM's do you think take Thomas over Irving?
I say zero.

Thomas is a nice player, but Irving is better.
Irving, 20.8ppg, 6.1apg (to 2.7 TO's), 3.6rpg, and 1.5spg while shooting 43%, 35.8% on 3-pointers and 86.1%
Thomas, 20.3ppg, 6.3apg (to 3.0 TO's), 2.9rpg, and 1.3spg while shooting 45.8%, 34.9% and 85%.
Irving wins in 6 of 8 categories.
But Thomas only has had one good season, he has to prove he can consistently do it.
To be fair, that team made it to the NBA Finals. They didn't flame out early in the playoffs. Malone's knee injury definitely impacted them against Detroit.

His numbers have increased every year as his PT has increased. I don't think he's a flash in the pan.
