i agree with everything except this. Yah his stats went down but that isn't the story. I can say he has expanded his game to the 3 point line, but I think he is pretty much the same as he was in Toronto. But do you think his prime is almost over or is he on the decline soon too??

Let's see: He was an all-star player in Toronto, has added the 3 point shot to the all-star level game that he already had in Toronto.........................but he's still the same player that he was in Toronto.

And here I thought adding to your game made you a better player.

Anyone else confused?:noidea:

Added a 3 point shot yeah but his defense is still meh and the 3 point shot expanded his game it takes him out of the paint for easy scores, putbacks/offensive rebounds, etc.

So my point is he added a 3 point shot, but lost the inside a bit. So he might be different, but still the same caliber of player.

I believe he was in his prime in Toronto and still is. But he is the same.

Because they were in full on tank mode, which is disgusting and a mockery to the game of basketball by the way.

Guys, what do you think are the chances LeBron flees town? Percentage wise I think there's a 30% chance he leaves. I really don't think signing Gasol would sway his choice much if they can even afford him.

Wait, I thought he went to the Clippers?

:lm:

Laughable losers, little brothers, No Titles.....Heck, they have never been to the WCF.

Add the Sterling Saga to the mix and it's really interesting that players would still rather Join this years Clippers, over the flushed with cash Lakers :noidea:.

Leave to go where?

I would say that out of the teams that can give him a near max deal, Joining the Rockets, or the Suns WITH Carmelo, are the only situations that would be an improvement over the one he's already in.

Sure, joining the Bulls, Spurs and maybe Thunder would get him closer to his third ring.

But, he is the best player in the NBA and won't be playing for the midlevel exception.

Why join the Cavs or Lakers to try and help them become a 50 win Team when he can stay where he is, get the most money,on a squad that's already a 50 win Team?

They got diddly-squat from the post this Season.

Gasol, Frye, Heck...Shawn Marion..would be an upgrade over the carcass of Greg Oden.

90% chance on him returning to Miami. I just don't see him leaving & taking all negative attention that will come with that choice. He is image conscience after he royally he screwed up with "the decision".

I think he has unrealistic expectations of Heat management considering the fact that he wants the max and no way can Pat give him the max and not give CB/Wade at least 12 million each at min....Then he still wants them to sign all these other top players available in FA with what money?

I agree with your percentages more and more each passing day. Gasol actually would sway his choice as he's still playing at an all-star level and provides Miami with another big man that possess a myriad of skills that would allow the offense to flow through Lebron's strengths while adding another big man on the floor.

Plus, Miami plays in the East. I like the roster Phoenix has along with Hornacek as a coach - they're clearly trending up. But I can't see Lebron heading out West given that making it to the Finals in that conference is almost a crapshoot.

I agree, but I hope you are not suggesting that Thabo should start over Korver. Korver is a pretty important part of what they do and Thabo is a solid rotation piece, but probably should not be a starter at this juncture.

So Berger says Bosh would prefer to go somewhere at a max 4 then give the Heat a discount? Source?
Bosh already publicly said that he would take less to stay in Miami.
People get so invested in the same 4-5 talking heads 'reports' every year/ day in FA, yet they are seldom ever correct with their speculation.
Funny, when most of the actual announcements/ signings do take place like Hawes yesterday, it is after it's already happened and was never even publicly speculated beforehand.
