Bosh saved the Heat when he returned against the Celtics a few seasons ago.

KEVIN LOVE is possibly one of the single most over-rated players in the league.

You have a freaking 55% chance to make the playoff if you do nothing at all.
This guy is treated like an all NBA difference maker when he cannot even get an 8 seed?

I don't care how bad you badmouth his supporting cast.
I don't care how tough the West conference is....

Those are just excuses. If somebody is a great player, they can will the team to at least a #8 seed.

Kobe carried freaking Smush Parker to the playoffs.
Lebron took Boobie Gibson to the finals.
D-Wade has made the playoffs with laughable rosters.
Heck even Chris Paul took a league owned club about to be sold and gutted to the playoffs.

I would almost rather have Chris Bosh today.
Bosh is a great defender and a great teammate.
And I would clearly take Chris Bosh of Toronto.

Bosh is on the decline and Love is an Allstar. Bosh really doesn't do anything great. He is a well rounded player but he isn't a great player anymore. I don't even think he is in the Top 10 in PF's or in Miami's case Top 10 at center.

Dammit purguy, we were getting along too. Bosh is 29, you can make the argument that he's still within the prime years of his career. Bosh was never great in terms of being on par with Durant, Wade, Lebron, etc. But he was always, and still is a 2nd tier all-star like Paul Pierce, Gasol, etc.

Bosh, IMO is still a top 5 PF. I really wish people would step back and look at what role Bosh had to play in order for the Heat to be successful. Stats took a hit across the board for each of the big 3.

Also, robtoxin, you just made me appreciate Bosh even more. Thanks.

Bosh is in his prime, he isn't Gasol (still a nice player) who is clearly on the downside of his career.

You could make a longer list of PG's better then Kyrie, then you could make a list of PF's or C better than Bosh.

Really?

Name 10 pf's in the NBA that are better than Bosh?

I agree he could be on the other side of his prime.

But, he is easily a top 10 pf.

1. Aldridge

2. Love

3, 4, 5 Blake/Davis/Dirk

6. ZBO

7, 8 Bosh/Duncan

9. ??????

10.??????

Al Jefferson, D Cousins, Horford are Centers.

I don't know what Monroe and Drummond are..Pf's and Centers?

Jefferson is higher up IMO

Yep and I'm not sure if Irving is down with his numbers decreasing.

A leopard can't change his spots.

The ONLY saving grace would be that both Kyrie/Love would have fresh max contracts in the bank, so lesser numbers wont really hurt them for a few years.

Bosh plays defense.

Love, Aldridge, and Blake have all been bad at defense over their careers.

Blake has improved no doubt, but he was so god awful he had nowhere to go but up.
Aldridge tries his best. His defense only has so much ceiling, but he tries at least.

Love is still a defensive liability. He might be the worst shot challenger ever to make an all-NBA team. He refuses to challenge shots, so he can go grab boards. He doesn't even try.

Chris Bosh looks like Dikembe Mutombo/Hakeem compared to those 3 guys.

Hmmmmmmm

Challenge accepted:yahoo:

1. Chris Paul

2. Tony Parker

3. Westbrook

4. Dame Lillard

5. Curry

6. Dragic

7. Wall

8. Kyrie

It's very close.

But, if Rose and Rondo were healthy, Kyrie wouldn't even be top 10....YET.

Fancy dribbling and Hero ball does not a great pg make.

But, in a few Seasons playing with Lebron?

Irving could be at the top of the list if he gets his head right.

The guy is uber-talented.

Looks like the Lakers have offered the HC job to Byron Scott.

I am easily seduced by offense.

So, you are probably right.

I'd still take all 3 over Bosh.

Correction last year loves defense was slightly above average last year. Especially on post ups he was very good. I wouldn't take bosh over love, griffen or aldridge right now although it's questionable
