The reason LOVE cannot make the playoffs is that he has no one to pass it to.

The reason LOVE is so valuable is that he is GREAT PASSER.

huh???

For a BIG MAN he is a great passer, don't see that much anymore. So bc you don't good teammates you cannot be a good passer.

Yes, you are very confused.

Marc Gasol, Pau Gasol, Tim Duncan, Marcin Gortat, Chris Bosh and Dirk Nowitzki (just to name a few) all say Hi.

Take out Bosh. And you have 5 guys, is that a lot?

Bosh doesn't get taken out and apparently you missed the to name a few part. I'm not going to list them all, but suffice to say that a good passing big isn't the rarity that you claim it is. In fact, there are more good passing bigs in the league now than in the 80's or 90's.

Come on.
You are acting like he's a qb threading a needle.
Name me any player in the NBA who can't get the ball to an open player streaking down the floor.
The alley oops / lobs are much more difficult.

I don't dispute that Love is a very good passer. I dispute Shane's assertion that good passing bigs are a rarity like he claims.

Agreed.

Love, McRoberts, Blake , in that order, had the highest assists among PF's last Season.

But, 6 pf's and 3 Centers averaged 3 dimes a game or more.

* Duncan appears on both lists.

:agree:

I love his game and think passing is his best asset, outside of shooting and boards.

But, he's no Oscar Robinson.

This will likely change by the time his playing days are over. But, he's behind Chris Webber, Vlade and Sabonis as far as great passing bigs historically.

Loves playoff stats are also awesome.:yahoo:

Bosh has produced when it counts the most.
Wake me up, and we can reasses when Love does the same.

God, I'm having flashbacks to Cavs fans 5 -8 years ago.
What?? Did/does Love have the talent around him in Minny, that Bosh had/has in Miami?? Think about that for a minute.

Martin & Pekovic isn't the same but it's not exactly chopped liver either.
I agree, but Love doesn't have the likes of Wade or James on the Timberwolves roster. IMO, Bosh had much better players surrounding him, then Love has at Minny.

Mecca, I'm going to put my two cents in. IMO, The best passers (big men) I have seen were Walton and Jabbar. When Walton use to grab a rebound and throw that outlet pass, it was a thing of beauty. Magic was the best passer I have ever seen, Pistol Pete was pretty damn good.

If all the Cavs end up giving up are Wiggins and Bennet the Cavs will win 60....book it

Kyrie/Love/LeBron is just unreal.

UNREAL. I just cannot even imagine what that team will look like offensively- and it will be a very very good rebounding team- as Love and Varejao are two of the top 10 rebounders- in the NBA

Kyrie 22 years old
Love 25 years old
LeBron 29 years old

this team would have at least 5 years of the primes of those guys to win a lot of games together

think of that..........

MONTHS AGO- i said how this EXACT scenario was possible when I said you could be looking at the 2015/2016 Cavs as one of the best teams ever- and I was ridiculed for it --- an old poster on FN-...."MMA" saved that quote and posted it over and over and over again

well- too bad he is not here now since i would throw it in his fat face.......

The Cleveland Cavaliers are the epicenter of the NBA Universe and will be for a long long time...get used to it everyone

If Bosh was still in Toronto, nobody would give a shit about him. Just like before.
