Maybe because he's not a ball hog? 19 shots for a power forward is pretty ridiculous. How is he a better shooter? Bosh is a career 50 percent shooter while love is at 45. That's the sad part.....love is a better inside player but still is only a 45 percent shooter. The only clear advantage he has is rebounding.

Check their career effective fg%, they aren't much different.

Love 49.4%

Bosh 50.5%

Love shoots more three pointers so his overall fg% will be less but he will be getting about the same points per shot.

Bosh's last season at Toronto and Love's last season are as follows:

Bosh efg% 52.2

Love efg% 52.4

I might add that Bosh was surrounded by good outside shooters which freed him up on the inside to play more one on one ball, then on the Heat he was always left wide open because of Lebron and Wade demanded most of the attention.

Bosh is way overrated, he will be exposed when he has to carry the load in Miami.

 at Cavs fans and Warriors fans.

Cavs fans: We get it, you are all running around with chubbies now that "The King Has Returned" (gayest thing I've ever seen re: player, btw). But as of right now, you aren't much, if any, better than you were when Lebron was in Cleveland before. You are counting on a player that some think maybe overrated, a player who's looking like a bust, a player who has yet to see 1 second of NBA action and/or a trade for a player from a team that has better trade offers than yours.

You may want to actually have these guys play a game or 2 together before you start picking out a place for a championship banner.

Warriors fans: It may very well be that Kerr is a great coach. From listening to him as an analyst, he seems to know his stuff. Guess what? When Mark Jackson was an analyst, he sounded like he really knew his stuff too. As of right now, you have the same thing that you had when Mark Jackson became your coach, a guy who sounds good on t.v., but who has never coached an NBA game. Until he actually coaches a game or 2 and has to make some in game adjustments, you don't know what you have for a coach. Guys like Pop, Phil, etc. didn't become great coaches and win rings because they have such a great "system".

Every coach has a good to great "system". The difference is in how those coaches adjust during games and throughout the season and playoffs when injuries and fatigue become factors. Pop and Phil are/were masters at this.

Best advice to both bases: Be excited about what is happening with your team, but stand down a bit. Ask Heat fans how much crap they had to put up with when their team didn't meet expectations in the first year of the big 3.

Seriously, please stop, or maybe tell us again
how die hard the fans are there.

Lately you've just made shit up trying to convince people here of things that factually aren't true.

So tell what is false about this statement. The fact is you Heat fans were ways bashing Bosh, but once Lebron leaves he is immaculate. Lebron had a great 4 seasons, move on.

I hope he wins in Cleveland, but maybe he won't. The fact that he came back is enough for me at the time.

Heat fans always recognized that Bosh was put in places where it would take away from his game so that Lebron and Wade could thrive. Bosh was pretty good in Toronto, and I don't see his type of game dropping down significantly since he doesn't rely on athleticism as a PF/C like Wade does.

This is a debate board. What is there to move on from? We're throwing out facts and statistics centered around debates. I'm not happy with how Lebron left the Heat, but it is what it is.

Ironic hearing Cavs fans saying move on...

Keep making excuses man. Maybe bc he shoots from outside a lot more than Bosh every did in Toronto. Why are you Heat fans upping Bosh up to Love's level. He isn't at it, and that is a fact. Great player, but he isn't and never will be Love.

But the fact is I want Cleveland to keep their current roster, but I'm sure if played with Lebron his FG Pct would rise as well.

Well it took me some time, but I moved on and I did it the right way. But this Bosh-Love argument is just not making sense, nothing against Bosh. We will see how he plays this season.

They don't even have Love and I personally haven't said anything about what I think they would do with or without Love. I want them to keep Wig.

But Love>Bosh :pop2:

Bosh takes a lot of shots from the outside. Bosh is regarded as one of the better shooting 4's in the league. I'm not entirely thrilled about him still playing center, but that's an entirely different debate.

As I've said before, Bosh and Love are damn near the same player. Not one player is so much better or worse than the other. Love may be the better rebounder, but Bosh is probably the better defender.

If Love plays with Lebron, he's going to have to settle outside of the paint more. Please tell me how that FG% is going to rise all of a sudden.

I moved on as well. Lebron's not on the Heat and I stopped cheering for him. I can say I was a Lebron fan for four years, fun ride, but time to move on. I cheer for the team, not the player.

I don't think he will. Yes, he will take his fair share but they need him to rebound, he is a great rebounder for a reason and I expect them to use him in a way to use that great skill.

Cities fill up arena/stadiums when they are winning, and not so much when they aren't.
Every fan base has diehards, but they all have front running bandwaggoners.
Cleveland is no different.

As far as Bosh, often his play left him open to criticism. Sometimes justified sometimes not, because of how he was used.
I don't think anyone here thinks he is some elite, going to get us to the Finals player.
He is what he is, and what that is, is about par to what Love is. Personally, I'd take Bosh, but I've seen a lot more of Bosh than Love so maybe Im biased.
