Now if only Cuban could follow his lead...he might be in a position 2 actually win again. :L

Elaborate?

Cuban stepped on his junk when he broke up that Championship team.

But, he clearly recognizes that was a mistake.

It's likely too late for Dirk...

You talkin' bout Kobe?

Well I'm pretty sure Dirk isn't gonna retire with more than 1 ring. At least Kobe has 5.
Damn great point. Don't even have a smart-alec comeback for that one!

You think Kobe wants to play with these castoffs?

Come on, I hate that guy.

But, you can never accuse him of NOT wanting to win.

He is delusional to think they can do that with him eating up 30% of the cap.

But, I don't think he's sitting at home saying " I got mine, who cares if we suck " :laugh3:.

I'm sure he isn't as well.

How many seasons now has Dirk taken a paycut 2 only be undermined by Cuban and not get the guys that could help Dirk win? After breaking up that championship team now he wants 2 bring Chandler back??
Okay....:wtf2:

This was my post, not Alldays.

He accepted it because it was more important, to him, that the team got better.

He has made a ton of money in his career.

He's still their best player. But, the gap is closing.

Duncan is the greatest PF......EVER.

If he can take a paycut for the betterment of the Team, everyone else can too.

But, that's a personal choice :noidea:.

I agree Mecca. My response was more rhetorical than inquisitive. I was being a bit sarcastic but since human interactions on the computer can be rather sterile of auditory intonnation and prosody of speech, much of that got lost.

So did I DJ.

I'm pretty sure most, outside of Bulls fans, expected this outcome.

Melo's flirtations with other teams was nothing more than an ego shot.

Had the Bulls been able to offer max money, the outcome could have been different.

But, he was never going to sign there while taking a 8mil a year paycut :laugh3:.

Man it's boing to be PLAYOFFS OR BUST for the LAKERS....

As much as this sounds crazeee....

I like watching KOBE in action...watched him live come back from 27 and beat the SONICS...but he might think about pulling a FWADE and limiting his PT

I knew LBJ was going home, I knew that Pierce was gonna sign w/ the Wiz, I knew Melo was gonna take less loot & stay in Gotham City, I knew Gasol was gonna go to Da Bulls, I knew Hollins was gonna replace Kidd in Brooklyn & I also knew that Kidd was gonna take the Bucks jobs. I just didn't tell anyone!

Isn't this the second time he took a paycut when his contract was up so that Cuban could put together a better team? The first time it worked, they won but immediately following the parade it seemed like Cuban broke that team up and hasn't been able 2 recover since. What moves have been made so far that would make us think differently this season?

I thought the Clips would get Pierce.

But, the Nets didn't want any of the garbage littering our Roster .

They should have traded Bullock while they had the chance.

Any hope that he would be a rotation player, this season, went out the window when his brother/sister got murdered.

It's hard enough to lose a sibling young.

But, to have to answer questions about them being transgender will make it even worse.
