Yea Rob Toxin, I am not one of the Lakers fans that relishes the Lakers getting a stiffy for some remarkable so-called "superstar" FAs every year. I am in the minority on this so your joke is sort of lost with me.

Cap space is only a good thing when you have players willing to take it.

* see Dallas Mavericks

They overpaid for Parsons because they had to.

He is a building block for the future.

Maybe the Lakers will have that in Randle.

But, giving Kobe that horrific contract makes zero sense if this is the direction that choose to take.

I feel like wades knee is not gonna hold up in the next few years. He had a torn minescus in the draft, instead of getting surgery like rose did he just had it removed. Which is why you're seeing these problems with him. It's to late now though

True on the getting it removed.
Thing is, it's been removed so it's nothing new.

Maybe with little luck, some dedication to changing his game a bit,
and the heart of a champion all combined, we get 2 solid years from him.

Losing James will cause a trickle down refocus.
Wade/Bosh are no longer just penciled into the ECF.

Heat will once again play with an attitude other then arrogance next year.
It will be fun to watch.

What are the Lakers even trying to do right now?

How can they salvage this summer?

Looking at the roster right now, Kobe can't be very satisfied.

So do people see the warriors being better than Portland and the rockets for the 4th seed now since rockets offseason has not been so great?

The defense for golden state is just downright scary. You have all that size with Livingston, igoudala, green, thompson, Barnes, and hearing they might add Brandon rush too. Man that perimeter defense is great. I don't even factor in boguts rim protection

This is true. This biggest contribution Wade can make for the Heat is to retire.

You must have him confused with Lamar.

Maybe if your team ever developed a player into being a Finals MVP, you would understand the importance of having those types of players around.
