:agree:

I would have liked to see them grab Blatche.

Since Minny is dead set on dumping him, what you be on board with trading for Kevin Martin?

He or Evan Turner would be a nice insurance policy in case Wade goes gimp.

I think Martin's salary is about 7 mil.

So, Turner would likely be the cheaper option.

I have no clue where we sit cap wise, but the Heat needs to stay under this year to shed the repeater.

I strongly feel that Riley would have drafted Hairston vs Nappier if he knew James was leaving.
Not blaming James. Just another repercussion of it though.

Didn't Deng Balk at the 3yr/30mil deal from the Bulls?

Well, it still worked out well for the Bulls, Cavs and Heat.

This is probably the best salvage job that I have ever seen in such a short period of time.

Losing Lebron could have crippled Miami.

But, Riley proved why he's one of the best in the business.....again.

Damn it! I wanted the Hawks to get Deng! Oh, well, I guess we'll have to get someone else good at small forward. Is there anyone else on the market at that position that's good?

Heat no better than 5th in the East next season, wouldn't make the playoffs in the West.

Depends on who they sign to fill in the gaps.

As for not making it in the West, that is 100% correct.

The Suns finished 9th in the West.

Had they been in the Leastern Conference, they would have been the 3rd seed.

Depends on Wade.

Another way to look at it is that they might go deeper in the playoffs next year then the Thunder because the West is so tough?

I'd be much more concerned about that, because if Durant bolts, you're not pulling off any quick Riley type rebuild.

One thing about Miami, it's still always going to be Miami, with or without James and players prefer South Beach vs all others.

Whatever Thunder Dan has said or done in the past is water under the bridge.

He landed the biggest prize in Free Agency.

He may have lost the first battle. But, he's winning the War...

For the next 2 Seasons anyway...

I don't like this 2 year deal.

I understand the WHY.

It actually helps the Cavs in the Summer of 2016.

But, I am not looking forward to going thru this crap again in 2016, especially since Durant will be a Free Agent that Summer as well...
I read about that today. I understand the why too. My gawd Lebron wouldn't dare pull another fast one on us. At least I hope not

I feel like wades knee is not gonna hold up in the next few years. He had a torn minescus in the draft, instead of getting surgery like rose did he just had it removed. Which is why you're seeing these problems with him. It's to late now though

East is getting better top to bottom. West is overall better, but playoffs on both sides should be very entertaining this year.

Evan Turner definitely has my eye. Maybe Danny Ferry will give him a call.

He should just retire IMO. There is nothing more for him to prove.

Yeah.

He had a BRUTAL sting in Indy.

But, everyone on that team stunk it up in the playoffs, except Stephenson and West.

Sadly for him, his stock went in the toilet.

I'm with you though.....

I would absolutely LOVE to have him too.

But, tis a dream for my Clippers.

I'd settle for Beasley or Marion at the SF position or Humphries at PF.

Won't get any of those guys because we are capped out.

Maybe Charlie Villaneuva or Jason Smith will come for the minimum:hope:.

Yea Rob Toxin, I am not one of the Lakers fans that relishes the Lakers getting a stiffy for some remarkable so-called "superstar" FAs every year. I am in the minority on this so your joke is sort of lost with me.
